Tilahun Degife's (AKA - ተምትሜ ጉሬዛዉ) Funeral

ውድ የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረሰብ አባላት የሳን ሆዜ ከተማ ነዋሪ የነበሩት አቶ ጥላሁን ወልደዓረጋይ የተባሉት ኢትዮጵያዊ ወንድማችን በድንገት ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት ተለይተውናል፡፡ አቶ ጥላሁን በቅርብ የሚኖር ቤተሰብም ሆነ የቅርብ ዘመድ የሌላቸው በመሆኑ የቀብር ስነስርዓታቸውን ሃይማኖታችንና ባህላችን በሚፈቅደው መሠረት ማስፈፀም በእኛ በወገኖቻቸው ተከሻ ላይ የወደቀ ሃላፊነት ሆኖል፡፡ በመሆኑም ሁላችንም የምንችለውን ያህል ለቀብራቸው ማስፈፀሚያ በመረዳዳት በክብር እንድንሸኛቸው ወገናዊ ጥሪያችን እናቀርባለን፡፡ ስለሚያደርጉት ድጋፍም እናመሰግናለን፡፡

Dear Members of the Ethiopian Community, We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of one of our Ethiopian community members, Ato Tilahun Woldearegay, who was a resident of San Jose, California. Ato Tilahun has no next of kin or relatives in the United States, and as such, arranging his funeral services has become the responsibility of all community members. We ask all Ethiopian community members to contribute what they can so that the late Ato Tilahun's funeral services can be conducted in accordance with our religion and customs.
