We are a group of individuals deeply and personally invested in supporting refugees forcibly and suddenly displaced from their homes in Western Tigray. Through direct engagement, we’ve heard their stories and have seen their struggles. These families were relocated (by foot) to the outskirts of Mekelle, and are living in an elementary school, with about 20+ families within a single classroom. They are struggling to survive without essential resources - access to food or water and have received little to no assistance from humanitarian agencies or from the government. Many within this camp, including children, have lost their lives due to unsanitary living conditions and the scarcity of food, clean water, and medical care. Many are also dealing with untreated medical conditions and the inability to afford essential medications for pre-existing and current conditions.

Your contributions will directly address urgent needs by providing food, medication, and feminine care products for this community. Funds raised will be channeled through a trusted local contact, who will coordinate with respected community elders to purchase food and feminine care products, transport clean water, and provide medication assistance.
