Hi All,

If you ever met Tiggy "Master Tiggy" at CARE (California Animal Rehabilitation) you probably know how amazing and special he is.

Tiggy was found paralyzed and unable to stand in both front and back legs in the middle of the desert when he was very young. He was under the care of veterinarians in Santa Monica, then he was boarding at CARE facility for many years. During his time at CARE, he changed many people's points of view about disability and provided staff and clients with lots of love and comfort. He truly was a therapy dog for so many.

Since 2019, He is under the care of Laurie, a former employee of CARE.

Caring for Tiggy is not an easy task. (I'm sure those who used to take him home for the night understand this!) He is not a small dog and requires a lot of physical assistance, and in recent years, because he is unable to stand, he has had a lot of respiratory illnesses requiring some intensive care and hospitalization in some situations.

He is, still the happiest boy around.

I'm making this page in a hope of helping Laurie with some of the medical bills.
