Tiger Bay go to Skate to Thrill!

Who?  We are the Tiger Bay Brawlers . Our goal is to compete at the highest level of Roller Derby. We’re not doing too badly so far - ranked in the European top 10. But to really compete we need to earn ranking points. That means skating in the USA!

What? Last year we went to ECDX, caused huge upsets by winning games and brought our worldwide ranking up to 68. This year, we need to go back to the US to protect our rankings points and earn some new ones.

We’re flying out to compete in Skate To Thrill – pitting ourselves against the powerhouses that are the US teams. We will be the only European team there.

We’ve been working hard all winter. We skate, we train off skates, we study footage and strategy, we skate, we train, we skate. Somewhere in there we all fit in full time jobs, because this is an amateur sport. That’s where we need your help.

How much?  We need to raise £5000 to help our team fly out there. Every single pound is precious to us. Every single penny helps us to step closer to our dream of being the very best team we can be. We'll be trying to fundraise more than this in other ways, but if you could help with the biggest chunk that'd be ace!
