Hello everyone,
I wanted to thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, and kind thoughts and words that you have extended to me and my family for my sweet Tiger Lily. Today we met with the doctors, and the entire team of ethics committee. This consists of Pastors, priests, community college professors, pics officers, parents of children whom are patients, unbiased outside doctors of the hospital, and quite a bit others. It’s a team of 21 people. Today we went over and discussed the care of my daughter.
We also learned quite a bit more findings about my daughters care. She has intestinal failure, lung failure, and her liver has been severely compromised. More importantly, my daughter’s precious brain has been profoundly damaged. They said there is beyond reasonable doubt, that this is beyond living with severe mental retardation, or even cerebral palsy. She will never be in a wakeful state. No amount of further treatment can recover her state, and any further treatment would increase her suffering, because of nothing else, she shows signs of feeling touch and even pain. My daughter is on extreme life support, and continuing keeping her on it, will cause her prolonged agitation, and uncomfortability. She has declined since last night as well.
So in all this, we must allow our daughter, to be welcomed into glory with dignity and respect. And we painfully have to say goodbye. We are broken and devastated. We have searched a second and third opinion, and they are all in agreement with the recommendation. As a mother I see it myself.
Finally, we have opened a go fund me account, for Tiger Lily, accepting offerings for her arrangements, so that we may celebrate her passing with those who desire to come and be a part of it. We are deeply grateful for all offerings even the smallest amount. And ALL the extended prayer warriors who have extended themselves in spirit to the healing of our sweet baby girl. Thank you all so much.
