Tiger Eye Fundraiser for Ronnie and Liz

Donation protected
Hey, friends, neighbors, and anyone who values community and creativity—
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but determined hope. On Saturday, September 6, 2025, a devastating fire ripped through the TigerEye Gift Shop—a beloved small business owned by Ronnie Amore and operated by his mom, Liz Boucher. The flames destroyed the entire building, all their
inventory, and Liz’s personal keepsakes—materials they poured their souls into over six wonderful years. Miraculously, no one was hurt, but in the blink of an eye, their dream was gone.

For years, TigerEye was more than a place to shop. It was a welcoming haven for Warwick and Rhode Island—a true gem tucked into Conimicut Village, offering unique gifts, souvenirs, artisan crafts, metaphysical readings, local artwork, and even DIY basket-making services.
It was where friends bumped into each other, locals shopped gifts made with love, and artists got a stage to shine.
After the fire, the Conimicut Village community and Mayor Frank Picozzi rallied to lift them up, praising Liz and her team’s decades of support and pledging to pay it forward. Ronnie later shared.
with ABC6 how surreal it was—suddenly, all 'your stuff disappeared… been here over five years, and now it’s pretty much gone.'
These past few days, the family has been overwhelmed by community love—and now, they need a bit more help to rebuild.

This GoFundMe is for:
- Rebuilding the store, restocking inventory, shelves, decor, and technology.
- Replacing Liz’s personal treasures, which held memories that can’t be restored, yet can be honored.
- Restoring the creative heart of the neighborhood, where local artists and makers found their place.
Would you help bring TigerEye back? Every donation—no matter how small—makes a difference.
Together, we can rekindle a neighborhood anchor full of light, artistry, and heart.
Thank you for being part of this community and for your generosity.
Please share this with anyone who knows the value of local businesses and the power of second chances.
With gratitude and hope,
MaryAnne (on behalf of Liz & Ronnie)
