Tiffy Tuffy Medical/Memorial Fund

Tifanee was battling something that is all too often overlooked and not discussed enough.... alcoholism. Paired with this was a myriad of personal issues that exacerbated her consumption and escalated her health issues to a dire situation. As of September 19, 2019, Tifanee was hospitalized in the ICU at Rush University Medical Center for liver/kidney failure, a tear in her esophagus, septic shock, pneumonia and sepsis. This situation came as a result of depression (over losing custody of her child) pairing with her alcoholism. She was in a comatose state for 8 days but was showing steady signs of improvement continuously, leading to being called the “miracle patient”, The medical staff and chaplains at the Rush University Medical Center in a Chicago were second to none. We,as her family, were at her side day and night to pray for her, support her and encourage her. Of course not being from Chicago we incurred immense housing/food costs as well. After speaking with her doctors, liver specialists, gastroenterologists, and the SUIT team at Rush, we approximated what her/our costs would be costs once she was released from ICU to continue her recovery from this dire time in her life. However, after putting up a very hard fight for 35 days, our dear Tifanee got her angel wings. We are now faced with yet again more travel costs as well as funeral expenses. Aside from that, Tifanee left behind a beautiful 6 year old daughter that we would like to help by setting up a college fund. No donation is too small. We thank you in advance! God bless you all.
