Last year, 2023, I not only 'koalaified' (qualified) for Cross Duathlon World Championships but I won as the overall female at Cross Duathlon National Championships which was a dream come true!! I had hoped that I was able to podium, but to win the overall made me so emotional.

This year World Championships will be hosted in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. is in August, late August which is their winter which is GREAT. It means the temps will be in the 70s.

Townsville, which is a coastal city in northeastern Australia. I am not a huge ocean person, but I am STOKED to see and smell the ocean the days I am there. Hug a koala, feed some kangaroos and see ocean animals!

I will be flying out August 15th landing in Australia August 17th and will be there until August 25th with the race on August 22nd, just days before my birthday!!! Whoo!

I am training extremely hard this year because I WANT to be on that World Championship podium. The reason for that is because I do not believe I will be doing another World Championship race.

Because the trip is in Australia it is a little more on the expensive side I have decided to do a fundraiser. I have paid for all of the items posted below, but the registration because it hasn't opened yet, and that is what I have the donation goal at.

I will still have to buy new bike and running shoes as well as mountain bike tires because Australia is really strict when it comes to bringing in foreign soil, I have listed estimates of those below but not in the overall
