Family & Friends, New and Old, near and far

It’s Tiff, it’s time for a little heart to heart. We need all the prayers for healing and comfort that we can get. Here’s what we’ve been going through over the past few months and what we are expecting in the upcoming months.

I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. I know we serve an awesome and healing God.

PLEASE, keep my family in your prayers, especially my husband and kids.

February 10th, a mass was found on my left breast during a CT Scan which led to a mammogram & sonogram of both breasts a week following. They found some questionable spots on my right breast and sent me to do a stereotactic biopsy of both breast. Those results concluded that the tumor on the left was noncancerous but the tissue on the right breast was abnormal.

May 8th, they did surgery to remove the tumor from the left breast and the tissue surrounding the biopsy area on my right breast.

May 16th, I went for my follow up with the surgeon. They found cancer cells in my right breast.

May 27th surgery is scheduled to perform a lumpectomy on my right breast. This will be followed by 6-7 weeks of daily radiation. Which, will require daily trips to Hobbs or Roswell.

Anyone that knows me, knows how important family is to me. That being said, I just want to make things as easy as possible on them. My husband, kids, parents, siblings (their spouses), and my Tia babies mean the world to me. Please pray for comfort for all of them! I am extremely grateful for the complete outpouring of support from our friends, family and community.
