Tiffany is a 54‑year‑old devoted mom, grandma, and wife whose life has always been rooted in love, adventure, and connection. For more than 20 years, she lived her dream as a flight attendant with WestJet, travelling the world, meeting new people, and creating unforgettable memories. When she wasn’t in the air, she was exactly where she loved most—surrounded by family and friends.
In January 2023, Tiffany’s life changed forever when she was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer. From that moment on, everything shifted for her and for those who love her.
Shortly after her diagnosis, Tiffany suffered a devastating complication during what was meant to be a routine bile duct stent replacement. Her condition became critical. She was placed on life support for eight days, and her husband and daughter were told there was nothing more that could be done.
But Tiffany wasn’t ready to let go.
Against all odds, she woke up from her coma, astonishing both her family and her medical team. That moment marked the beginning of a fight that has required unimaginable strength and resilience.
Over the past three years, Tiffany has endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy. She has now exhausted the treatment options available to her through the Canadian health care system. Without access to new and advanced therapies, her cancer will continue to progress. Without intervention, this disease will take her life. Time is no longer something she has in abundance.
In the midst of this painful reality, Tiffany and Kevin chose love. During her treatment, they made the deeply meaningful decision to get married. In a moment that could have been defined only by fear and loss, they chose commitment, joy, and hope.
Today, Tiffany is still fighting. She is still strong enough and willing to travel anywhere necessary to pursue clinical trials, experimental treatments, and specialized care that may extend her life. Organizations such as the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation are helping guide patients toward emerging medical trials, but accessing these opportunities often requires immediate travel, out‑of‑country care, and significant financial resources.
This is why we are raising money.
The funds raised will be used to help Tiffany obtain access to medical trials and advanced treatment options not available at home, and to support her overall well‑being during this critical time. This includes the costs associated with travel, medical consultations, treatment abroad, insurance, and the care she needs to remain strong enough to continue fighting.
Without these funds, Tiffany’s options disappear. Without these treatments, her time will be cut short.
Every donation, no matter the amount, directly impacts Tiffany’s ability to keep going. Access to clinical trials often comes with narrow and unforgiving windows, and acting quickly could mean the difference between having options or having none at all.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this page can still make a meaningful difference. Time is everything right now.
Tiffany is not ready to stop fighting, and her family is not ready to stop fighting with her. They are holding on to hope, love, and the belief that more time is still possible.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading Tiffany’s story, for your compassion, and for helping us give her what matters most—time, care, and dignity.
