My name is Tami Cross. I am reaching out to all of you to ask for help for Tiffany and her family. Tiffany is a 15-year-old high school studcent who has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) in which blood vessels become inflamed, leading to damage in major organs of the body. It is currently affecting her lungs and she was placed on a BIPAP hooked to oxygen to help her breathe. There has been some difficulty with infusing her new medications; and she has been in the hospital for 3 weeks now, and is still in the Pediatric ICU. Through all of this, her family has been at her side 24 hours a day. Tiffany still has a long road of treatments, as this is a life-long disease. It is my hope that you could help this family through this difficult time.
