Help Tiffany Study Abroad in London

My name is Tiffany Fulson. I am currently a 3rd year BFA Theatre Performance major at The University of Illinois at Chicago. While at UIC I have had the opportunity to be in 2 mainstage shows, "The Bluest Eye" and "Clybourne Park", while also maintaining a 3.6 GPA. In addition to being a full time student I work as a teaching artist for theater and dance through a professional organization called Global Girls. I also work part time as a retail sales associate. I work very hard juggling these many things to pay for school and simply to live. With that being said, I am pleased to announce that my hard work is indeed paying off.
I have been blessed with an amazing opportunity to study theater abroad this summer through Arcadia University’s London Internship Program. Arcadia University London Internship program is a unique program that allows me to engage with London not only as a student but as a professional as well. In addition to my academic studies while abroad, I will also be an intern and have the opportunity to actually work in a professional theater in London. Awesome, right? Anyone who knows me knows that I am very passionate about my art, so you can only imagine just how much this opportunity means to me.
However, the not so awesome part is the total cost of my program. Including tuition, flight, and housing the cost comes to approximately $11,160, which is why I am asking for your help. So far I have been able to come up with $2,000 dollars by saving money from my part time jobs. I have also applied for several scholarships, which if I am granted will equal up to another $2,000 dollars. Even with the anticipation of the scholarships that still leaves me about $7,000 dollars short that I would have to take out in loans. As we know college alone is expensive, and raising this money will help me to have this priveleged experience for as little debt as possble.
Essentially, I am raising money to go overseas for the first time to further expand my knowledge and experience as a performer, actor, and artist. I hope that through this experience I will also be a role model and leader to my community. I am asking you to please help me make my dreams come true. 100% of these donations will be used towards the cost of my program and time abroad. There is absolutely no donation too small every single dollar helps.
