Tiffany Michael and Family

Hello everyone, we are JJ and Maya Brice. Our nephew Hunter recently lost his beautiful wife Tiffany to complications with chemotherapy. She was only 25 years old and left behind her loving husband and two little boys-Oliver Lee who is 6, and Elias Gage who is 3.

Tiffany began experiencing hip pain about 6 months ago. The military hospital she went to didn’t have MRI technology and the staff continuously did XRays and sent Tiffany to PT. She tried to get appointments but couldn’t find the necessary help. This went on for a few months.
On January 27th she was referred to Vanderbilt hospital where an MRI was conducted. Unfortunately, it came back with a diagnosis of sarcoma in her hip bone that caused a fracture. Additionally, she was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma in her chest and abdominal wall and a hematology type blood problem which lead to weekly blood transfusions.
She began chemotherapy which worked for a while on keeping her breathing as the tumors were blocking her airways. She later developed headaches and when scanned, brain swelling was found due to PRES syndrome and she was admitted to the critical care unit.
Her brain kept swelling and she was moved to neuro ICU where doctors went from cancer treatments to keeping her brain functioning. She was fighting for her life in a medically induced coma, but unfortunately the swelling wouldn’t go down and she lost eyesight. Life saving measures did not help, and although the family had a bright spot right around her son’s 6th birthday on March 6th, ultimately the doctors and family made her as comfortable as possible in her passing. Tiffany Sunshine Michael passed away on March 11th, 2024 at 2am.
We are asking all family, friends, acquaintances, and friends to pray for Hunter, Oliver, Elias, Tiffany’s family, and Hunters family in this time of grief and confusion.
All donations will go to Hunter Michael to be used for Oliver and Elias’ care and education, which was very important to Tiffany. Thank you in advance.
