Hello, our dog Tifa, recently got diagnosed with a severe UTI after showing minimal symptoms. She ended up having an emergency cystotomy to remove large stones found in her bladder and was recovering well until Sunday. She started showing signs of severe pain and was rushed to the emergency vet. Monday, she was referred to a specialist in Austin and they discovered her abdominal cavity was filled with urine. She needed a critical, complicated, and expensive surgery to rebuild her bladder wall. Thanks to the donations we received we were able to proceed with the surgery Wednesday evening. Unfortunately, there was not enough bladder left to save and we made the difficult decision to put her to rest. She lived a happy life and brought so much joy to those around her. Any further contributions to this campaign will go towards her medical bills. The total cost of surgery was 10,000. Thank you for all the support and kindness that has been offered.
