Tierra's Journey: From Job Loss to New Beginnings

Hello friends and family,

My name is Tierra, and I’m reaching out during a time of both challenge and exciting new beginnings. Recently, I lost my job due to unexpected government cuts. While that moment was difficult, it opened a door to something I’ve always dreamed of; starting my own business.

I’ve been given the amazing opportunity to open a smoothie bar alongside my son at one of our local YMCAs. As a single mother, this journey means so much more than just starting a business. It’s a chance to teach my son the values of hard work, ownership, and building something that can last; a step toward creating generational wealth for our family.

We’re both incredibly excited to begin this chapter, but getting started comes with some financial hurdles. We’re currently seeking support to help cover the cost of licensing and a few pieces of essential equipment. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to us and bring us one step closer to opening our doors.
