A window into our magical little world:
My name is Katie Feldpausch, founder of Tierra Madre Nursery, LLC and advocate for preserving the magic, wonder and innocence of early childhood.  Within my home in majestic Santa Fe, our earth-based childcare provides a creative, natural and loving environment. The imagination and developing spirit is nourished and supported as we incorporate songs, verses, stories and reverence to celebrate the rhythms of the natural world.

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our school as we have closed our doors until June 2020.  A nuturing early childhood experience has a profound impact on development, learning and behavior. For this reason, we are highly committed to maintaining a preschool that fully immerses the chidren into the awe and wonders of the natural world.  Please help us preserve our sweet little school!
                               


Imagine a space nestled in the mountains where chidren can experience the beloved earth through a sandpit and mud kitchen, balance upon beams and ancient ponderosa tree stumps, lined by swings that soar from earth into air. Picture these same children harvesting from a delicately cared for organic garden and preparing their weekly soup and porridge at our outdoor kitchen.  These same children will gather fresh eggs from the Tierra Madre chickens and bake their very own bread to serve at snack time!



OUR GOAL is to raise $3,500 by June 1st  keep our school in operation.   We'd love for the children to return from their COVID-19 break and enter through the  door  into a magical wonderland that will carry them through the rest of the school year (and the many years to come!!)
