Hi all, my name is Chantel, My family and I are fundraising for much needed awareness & support towards Dravet Syndrome Ireland.

On the 27th of June, our family will be taking part in “Tie Your Lace and Play for Grace” to raise awareness and vital funds for families affected by Dravet syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy that begins in infancy. My little cousin Grace was diagnosed as a baby, and since then our family has experienced first-hand the challenges that come with this condition. From frequent seizures to developmental difficulties, Dravet syndrome impacts every part of daily life, not only for those diagnosed but for the families who love and care for them.

This fundraiser means more to us than words can express. Through the incredible support and work of the Dravet Syndrome Organisation, families like ours are given hope, guidance, education, and a sense of community during the hardest moments. The organisation continues to fund critical research, raise awareness, and support those navigating the realities of Dravet syndrome every single day.
