“With Love from A to Z” Project

As many of you are aware, both of my daughters, Avery and Zoey have been admitted to M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. At times, this hospital feels like a second home to us. We have specialist appointments here usually twice a month, and we are frequent flyers, as some may call them, to their ED. One of the things that made our hospital stays more enjoyable was the donated tie blankets they gave the pediatric patients. Zoey still sleeps with hers to this day after receiving it in the ICU. With this, the With Love from A to Z project was born.

In our first year, 2024, we raised $400, which was directly utilized to purchase the fleece. We made 60 blankets, equating to each blanket costs about $6.50 a piece. With that in mind, I would love to raise more money, utilize a different fleece vendor this year to expand that 60 number to at least 150. We are so incredibly thankful for the donors and those who helped tie blankets last year, and can't wait to bring it back for another year.

This year, in recent events have decided to change our donation drop off to Children's Minnesota (Mpls) location. In light of the tragedy that occured at Annunciation Catholic School.

Goal will be to aim for each blanket to cost approximately 5$ a piece with our new vendor.
