Hi my name is Joe, one half of the management team for Tickton Dynamos FC.

On the 2nd of May 2026 I will be completing a 30 mile walk from Filey to our home pitch at Longcroft school in Beverley.

Why am I doing this? Good question!

I am doing this to raise funds to celebrate a fantastic season for our Under 7s team and to help prepare them for the seasons ahead.

The money raised will go towards:

An end-of-season presentation and party to reward the children for their hard work, effort, and teamwork

Trophies and awards so every child feels proud of what they’ve achieved

Future kits and equipment, helping keep grassroots football affordable for families

This team has shown incredible enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and smiles week after week. Grassroots football relies on the support of families, friends, and the local community, and every donation — no matter the size — helps us give these kids a positive, memorable experience both on and off the pitch.
