My lola Josefina Rimando Gaite passed away yesterday at the age of 98. She was an amazing and powerful woman: a lawyer with 9 children and over 20 great-grandchildren who could speak multiple languages.
I'm a student with not that much money, certainly not $1500 for a ticket to Manila. My mother is currently on disability and as soon as she received the news jumped on a plane. I do not wish to push that burden on her. So, here goes nothing. Anything helps.
This only covers the ticket from Sunday, July 29 to to Friday, August 3 ideally.
