Help Reva recover funds from Stolen Equipment
Donation protected
Dear Community,
In January of 2022, all of my camera equipment was stolen from my home. While this was incredibly disheartening -- this is the same equipment I've used to shoot several films, photo series', and support myself financially -- the event inspired me to curate a birthday show and fundraiser "Tibe Tire", which took place on February 19th. The show was incredibly inspiring and allowed me to share my film Trust Issues, my first live musical performance, and the beautiful work of my family and friends. The event fundraiser was a great start. This GoFundMe is in place to take me the rest of the way home in what I need to recover the equipment and seed my next projects. Having my equipment stolen set me back in my timelines on these projects, so your support will help me make up for lost time and resources.
Here is exactly where your money will go:
50% - recovering camera equipment that was stolen from my home in January of 2022.
30% - preliminary expenses for pre-production on Joseph X.
20% - preliminary expenses for Growing Pains album--demos and recording time.

In the spiritual practice, Ifa, Tibi tire ejiwapo is an expression that says ‘good and bad come together.’ Similar to the concept of yin/yang, Tibi Tire expresses that the nature of the universe is duality--positive and negative will always coexist. Knowing this, how do we pull from the positive while still honoring the challenges and difficulties that life presents? How do we alchemize our lives? This entire experience has been a lesson in tibi tire, as shown through the beautiful show that was born from a moment of hardship. Your financial support here will spark this energy of alchemy in a way that will continue to ripple out and positively impact our community.
My upcoming parallel creative projects: Joseph X (a feature film) and Growing Pains (an album), differ in medium and in subject matter but serve a meaningful healing function when considered as a collectively moving whole. Together they are able to hold difficult 'shadow' realities while providing hope, healing, and transformation. Any additional funds raised will go towards the continued growth and evolution of these projects.
As you know it takes so much effort to bring these creative works to life. I appreciate all of the ways that you have supported me and continue to support me.
I can't wait to see how this all comes together and to have you on my team along the way.
Much love,
Reva
