Hi, I’m Bloss!

In April 2024, I underwent surgery to donate a kidney and facilitate a living kidney transplant for my soul mate, my incredible husband.

Established in 1975 as the British Kidney Patient Association, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people affected by kidney disease for 50 years. Throughout our recovery and during his time on dialysis, Kidney Care UK provided financial and emotional support to us and helped to lighten the burden of our situation.

Due to his age and the nature of his kidney disease, it is expected that my husband will require further transplants in the future and I suspect there will be a time where we will, once again, need to reach out to Kidney Care UK for support.

For this reason, on the 14th of September 2025 I will be running the Tibberton Trot (10k) to raise funds for this amazing charity.
