Tia’s Legacy for Rhyli

Shawntia Douglas was a mommy, a sister, a daughter, a friend. On Tuesday July 9, 2019, Tia, her boyfriend Devin, and their one year old daughter Rhyli were struck by another vehicle while on the road. Devin and Rhyli escaped with minimal injuries- Tia was not as lucky. She was taken to the shock trauma unit and would remain unconscious until July 13 where she was then pronounced brain dead. Her family made the excruciating decision to take her off life support that day. This was unexpected. This was sudden. This was the last thing that should have ever happened to Tia. She was only 23 and one of the most energetic, empathetic, genuine, and supportive people we have ever met. Tia LOVED (and will always love) her daughter Rhyli, more than anything in the entire world. This go fund me account is set up as a legacy from Tia for Rhyli. Any donations, anything at all, will be directly sent to Tia’s family to help with funeral costs and to help with Rhyli’s future. We’ve lost a light that we expected to see shine for years to come.
