Hi I am Kirstyn, Tiarna's Aunt, Jacinta's sister.

5 months ago Tiarna and Daniel welcomed a baby girl Amelia, who is an adored baby sister to Isaac 3 yo.

3 months ago Tiarna went into hospital for a simple procedure of having her gall bladder removed, however nothing has been simple!

Tiarna has had multiple surgeries, her initial surgery was delayed and a gallstone perforated her pancreas, causing pancreatitis, her spleen has since died, and last night another procedure was booked to place stents in her pancreas and lung to find out the pancreatic fluid had eaten away at her lung and her lungs collapsed in surgery. She is now in a medically induced coma to heal and has been transferred to The Alfred Trauma ICU. The next few days will be critical to learn the extent of the damage.

Tiarna and Daniel are proud people, they would never ask for help but Tiarna has a long road ahead, her time in the hospital has left her unable to walk so a rehab facility will be next once she can get stable enough - returning to her special ed role at school will be in the distant future, also taking away her salary.
