My beautiful niece Taina Marie Cruz-Jimenez born on April 1, 1998 recently passed on May 24, 2020. Taina was a wonderful niece, family to many, and friends to others. She touched the lives of those around her with her kind eyes and thoughtful ways. She had an infectious laugh and a big, beautiful, bright smile that would make even the darkest days seem brighter.  She always had something silly to say and knew how to make others smile.

As her uncle, I have started a fundraiser to help cover the cost of her funeral expenses. Our family was not prepared to lose someone so young and vibrant. With the high cost of a funeral during this difficult time we are reaching out to the community, our family and friends for help.

Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. We need to raise $12,000 by June 1st in order to cover the cost of Tiana's funeral service.
