Hi Everyone!
For those who may not know me, my name is Tia Strickland. I am a native of Washington, DC and currently a senior at Radford University. I am also a candidate to receive my bachelors in Biology and Dance in Spring 2020!
I'm very excited to announce that recently I have been accepted into the Atlantis Summer Fellowship Program! This is a Summer fellowship that will continue my education abroad in Spain specifically Albacete, Castille-La Mancha. For 3 weeks I will be shadowing and interning with different doctors at one of the top hospitals in the country with students from different schools around the US. Through this program, I will not only will I be able to further my knowledge in the health care field but also fully immerse myself in a different culture as well as increase my proficiency in Spanish.
If I am afforded this opportunity, I will be responsible for all of my travel expenses, room and board, meals, weekly excursions, travel insurance and an emergency phone. With your help, I can make this opportunity a reality.
I would be very appreciative of all of the donations that will be coming through. I can't express how incredibly blessed and humbled I am to be able to have this experience!
