Tia the trooper
Donation protected
Hi . Meet Tia.
A 22 y/o female with a fast growing tumor. Tia was lucky enough to have found her mass at a manageable size. Unfortunately with its rapid growth and interference with other areas of her brain she will be doing surgery.
Tia underwent surgery on the 29th of September just 12 days after her 23rd Birthday. The surgery went well but recovery is not what the doctors expected at all. Tia has not yet regained her speech, but is still making progress everyday since surgery, despite the many setbacks along the way. The doctors expected Tia to have started talking about 2 days after the surgery, but that has not happened yet. She is not walking, nor is she eating on her own.
However, she was moved to a rehabilitation hospital where she will be doing intensive therapy to get her back to her peppy self.
This will be a long road to recovery, but she is resilient and we know that she will get through this and be better than ever.
We are asking for donations in order to help pay for her doctor bills, we are not even sure as to what that amount looks like just yet. Additionally, the donations will aid in continuing to pay for Tia's personal bills (credit card, phone bill, tuition and student loans). This way she is ok financially as she takes this time to fully recover.
This will cost quite a lot and will also put Tia out of a job for for a few months. We are doing what we can as a family, but it is a little rougher than we expected.
Thank you for your donation in what ever form or quantity (A prayer, a dollar, or any positivity).
PS.
Tia created this GoFundMe herself, because she knew that we would need the help. So I took the liberty in going and added more information since the surgery has already happened.
