Hi my name is Rita and my aunt Rebe has been diagnosed with Breast cancer. She is my third aunt to be diagnosed with breast cancer in the last three years. The type of cancer that she has been diagnosed with is aggressive and less responsive to traditional treatment.

Rebe is the peacemaker and voice of gentility for our family. She is always the one to remind us to smile and laugh in times of hardship.

As a caregiver to the elderly, she has dedicated her life to taking care of others in their times of sickness and passing.

Her sense of calm, peace, and hope guided our family as my other two aunts went through their own battles with cancer over the last three years.

But Rebe, who has done so much for our family and for others in their time of illness, is now sick herself and needs our support, especially because she is unable to work full time to make ends meet.

So far we have raised $7,000 by selling food, doing yard sales and getting donations. It was a slow process, but we have been so touched by all the community members that have gone out of their way to help us. It is their generosity that has given us hope in our time of heartbreak.

Through GoFundMe, we hope to is to raise $40,000-45,000 more for her treatment.

Hola mi nombre es Rita Carbajal y mi tia Rebe fue diagnosticada con cancer de mama. Ella es la tercera tia diagnosticada con cancer en los ultimos tres años. El tipo de cancer que tiene es agresivo y el tratamiento traditional no es eficiente.

Rebe trabaja cuidando a enfermos y personas de edad avanzada. Ella es la voz gentil, alegre y optimista de la familia; ella siempre nos recuerda sonreir en tiempos de dificultad; su alma calmada ha traido armonia en tiempos de enfermedad a otros y a la familia . Pero ahora es ella quien necesita nuestro apoyo para sanar del cancer.

Los estragos finanacieros y la inhabilidad de trabajar tiempo completo para satisfacer sus necesidades basicas y tener el tratamiento de inmunoterapia que le fue recomendado, nos ha llevado a hacer ventas de garage, rifas y ventas de comida. Todavia necesitamos $40,000-45,000 para su tratamento.
