Nuestra querida Tía Mirtha (Mirtha Itriago) estaba sufriendo de una parálisis de su ojo izquierdo producto de tres aneurismas en ambos sifones carotideos, que requirieron cirugía urgente para poder reparar su condición y prevenir complicaciones adicionales que podrían incluso tener un desenlace fatal. Tía Mirtha está en Venezuela, en donde el sistema de salud está colapsado, con lo cual, solo es posible acudir a servicios médicos privados. Todo se maneja en dólares y a precios exorbitantes. Como la gran mayoría de los venezolanos, Tía Mirtha no tiene seguro médico ni los medios económicos para cubrir los costos de la operación. Por esta razón iniciamos esta campaña con la que logramos recoger una parte del dinero necesario. La operación fue realizada con éxito en medio de muchas dificultades y contratiempos. Ya Tia Mirtha está de vuelta en casa y sintiéndose mucho mejor GRACIAS a la ayuda de todos los que contribuyeron. Dios los bendiga y retribuya su generosidad con mucha salud. Todavía quedan deudas por pagar y por eso seguimos activos. De antemano gracias por ayudarnos donando, compartiendo esta campaña y también con sus oraciones.
Our dear Aunt Mirtha (Mirtha Itriago) was suffering from a paralysis of her left eye caused by three aneurysms in both carotid siphons, which required urgent surgery to be able to repair her condition and prevent additional complications that could even have a fatal outcome. Tía Mirtha is in Venezuela, where the health system is collapsed, with which it is only possible to go to private medical services. Everything is handled in dollars and at exorbitant prices. Like the vast majority of Venezuelans, Tía Mirtha does not have medical insurance or the financial means to cover the costs of the surgery. For this reason we started this campaign with which we managed to collect a part of the necessary money. The surgery was carried out successfully amid many difficulties and setbacks. Tia Mirtha is back home and feeling much better THANKS to the help of everyone who contributed. God bless you and return your generosity with good health.
