My name is Victor Fuentes,

I was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer which spread to my lymph nodes on both sides of my neck. On Friday May 18, 2018 a total thyroidectomy was done. They have surgically removed my thyroid completely and about 70 malignant lymph nodes surrounding it. The removal will now require me to take thyroid hormone pills for the rest of my life. The funds that I'm trying to raise is to pay future doctor visits and bills that I havent been able to pay due to illness. I almost did not have enough on my last visit to the doctors office for co-pay plus medication. The battle is not over, I still have to undergo radioactive treatment in about a month and be out of work indefinitely or until further notice by my doctor. I live independently and have not paid my rent and so, I'm trying this gofundme page to see if it helps me raise some funds. These are my reasons for requesting assistance.
