Thyroid Cancer Surgery-Radioactive Iodine treatmen

Hello world, my name is Boris and I have created this Gofundme fundraiser to help us with the medical expenses for thyroid surgery and Radioactive Iodine treatment for my wife - Teya. On Feb 28-th of this year, my wife called me, crying on the phone that she couldn't breathe. She was just a few blocks from my job. Jumped in the car and went to her location. She was in rough shape, so I took her to the ER. In the ER her pulse was 284. Gave us an SVT and POTS diagnose. The doctors were able to correct the heart rate. We were let to go home with a beta-blocker prescription. After a couple of days, she felt even worse: unable to get out of bed, extremely low blood pressure, etc. One night after I returned from work and massaged her feet, moving the blood around, I was shocked to see her toes turn white and blue lines everywhere. I was terrified by that and started reading the side effects of the medication. Turned out that she had very rare side effects. Called our family doctor to ask for permission to stop the medicine. Ever since, we have had another visit to ER and another beta-blocker. After finally seeing the electrophysiologist, we were advised to stop all medication so she can recover from the side effects. She did get better during the past 4 months, but still not herself. After all of these medical issues (we have never been in hospitals or taken any medications and live a healthy lifestyle), she decided to start checking everything in her body. After an ultrasound of her neck, they found nodules in her thyroid. Had to do a biospy of the nodules. After the results of the biopsy, we were sent to MUSC for a "second" opinion. Two weeks ago we were seen by a great and trusted surgical oncologist in MUSC. Dr Carneiro-Pla did her evaluation and she confirmed that my wife has a thyroid cancer and it needs to be removed. Dr Darneiro-Pla was able to fit us in her busy schedule for this month. We are blessed that this cancer was found in time and on accident. We just received the surgery estimate and I am trying to find some help with the total cost.
