Thy's campaign for Wat Lao Santitham

Recent events have brought many people to do unspeakable things for whatever reasons. Unfortunately these things usually don’t have a positive impact.  Today I was heartbroken to find out that a Buddhist temple I helped build as a child and still drive 4 hours every few weeks to visit was vandalized. The perpetrator was caught but not before destroying 3 of the Buddha statues that were housed by the back gate. This incident has left many of the elderly members of the temple feeling hurt, speechless, and uneasy as the peaceful temple that they’ve visited every week in what had been a quiet area for decades has lost it tranquility. I am raising money to help replace the 3 damaged statues and to extend security surveillance from the main building to the temple gates and various parts of the temple grounds.  All funds left over will be donated to maintain the operations of the temple.  Any donated amount is greatly appreaciated. Thank you. 47209802_1586147836823013_r.jpeg47209802_1586147863121073_r.jpeg47209802_1586147884379440_r.jpeg47209802_1586147930351939_r.jpeg
