Thunderbird Help for Tony Flores

Hello Tony Flores Fans ~ As many of you have heard, Tony Flores, Thunderbird's Outside Services Supervisor, had a terrible car accident this October. Tony was in Mexico visiting family and he and his Uncle were broadsided by a semi-truck, totaling the car and sending both of them to the hospital. Tony sustained a major concussion and severe lacerations to his face. He had surgery to graft an eyelid, and has a small blood clot in his brain. The hospital in Mexico would not accept his US insurance, and he was required to pay in full to be released. He is optimistic about his recovery, but the timeline of his return to work is unclear at this point.

 

The goal of this GoFundMe is to help Tony manage his time off work, and help with medical bills while he continues to recover. Thunderbird is such a generous and supportive community, in part because of the great culture that is created by our wonderful employees. We all know Tony's big smile and good sense of humor, and how lucky we are to have such a positive interaction before we step onto the first tee! Let's do what we can to keep that smile on Tony's face.
