Thunder Hollow Moveable Eats

Hello I'm Charles D. Thurston. I am a 46 year old veteran father of two. I was born and raised in Vermont, lived here my whole life. I've always had a passion for food even at a young age. I sold baked potatoes and lamb kabobs at the Stratton Mountain resort at 10 years old.

I apprenticed at the Puntey Inn for three years and have worked at several different fine dining establishments and country diners as a chef. I am trying to start the next chapter in my life with my children and my partner Cara.

We are starting small by preparing food at a local farmers market. We'll be serving grilled sandwhiches, salad wraps, pulled pork, country style fare, and other comfort foods.

Though the idea sounds simple enough, the process has proven to be costly for us. There are insurances and permits and other red tape holding us up, in addtion to the cost of equipment and food.
