3/28 Update! The above video shows Thumper trying to reach his love, Bambi. His sheer will to live and love are the reasons why I chose to have this expensive surgery to make him whole - I could never extinguish this amazing little spirit! Thanks to all of you for making moments like this possible!
Back Story: Hello everyone. My name is Thumper. After a scheduled comprehensive exam at my local vet, I was suddenly unable to walk - my legs just gave out on me and I could not get up! I was really afraid and in pain - my mommy was crying. We went to the animal hospital and an MRI showed I had a herniated disc! How the heck did that happen?! I had to get emergency back surgery and I am unable to go home just yet because I still cannot sit or stand - my legs will not move. I am very sad.
The vet said it will be a long road to recovery. My family is in tears and my little wifey Bambi misses me so much.
I just want to be able to go for walks and play like I used to. We need help with the animal hospital bills which are over $11,000 and rising every day! I am really a nice dog and my family prays for me all day long. Please send your thoughts, prayers and blessings - it will brighten my mommy’s day! Thank you❣️
