Thumper, the Clumber spaniel's veterinary bills

Susan Carlson's beloved Clumber spaniel Thumper the Therapy Dog was diagnosed with cancer today after being rushed to ER Sunday for suspected autoimmune disease, and undergoing a splenectomy today.
Those of you who have Clumber spaniels know Susan for her years of dedicated work as a regional chair of Clumber Spaniel Rescue & Placement. Susan has done so much to help many dogs in need, and been a great ambassador for the breed and resource for new and existing Clumber spaniel owners. Susan has organized annual auctions for Clumber Spaniel Rescue & Placement and raised thousands of dollars for the Rescue to help ensure that no Clumber is ever turned away because of the costs of veterinary care. She has rescued and cared for many Clumbers from horrific puppy mills including the beloved, Bee. Recently, Susan launched a successful sweatshirt campaign that raised over $3,000 for Clumber Rescue & Placement.
Thumper has also done things for others like his big hearted mom as he has been an active therapy dog through Therapy Dogs International for much of his life.
He now needs help in the toughest battle he will ever face and against a disease that has rightly been called the "emperor of maladies."
If at all possible, please consider donating something, anything will help-however small, to help two dear friends richly deserving of support at this difficult time. All the funds donated will go directly to paying for Thumper's existing veterinary bills and to cover 4 months of chemotherapy that will be starting within days.
