Ontario frontline workers are emotionally and physically exhausted from helping those with COVID19 while taking extreme precautions to prevent themselves and their families from getting the virus.
Scuba diving has proven to be therapeutic for the mind, body and soul! Thumbing a dive in scuba means "anyone can end a dive anytime, for any reason". It is the mental health equivalent of " it's ok to not be ok". Help me thumb COVID19 with scuba diving!
With money raised from this fundraiser, Under the Surface will host a Therapeutic Scuba Experience (TSE) for frontline health care workers who are making sacrifices every day during this pandemic.
If you know anyone who would benefit from scuba therapy, go to underthesurfacescuba.org to nominate them! Include name, contact info and a short bio on them and their role during the COVID19 pandemic.
