On December 30, 2018 Thuan Tran (known to many as “Tran”) was in a severe ski accident at Silver Mountain, a place he cherished and loved beyond measure. With the wisdom and medical support of dear friends who found him, Tran was life flighted to Kootenai Clinic Hospital where he is currently on life support and surrounded by the love of his boys and many friends and family members. Unfortunately, Tran sustained critical injuries including a ruptured C1 disc; it is likely he will not wake up from his coma.

As the family begins to wade through the emotions that come from a tragedy like this, we are leaning heavily on the amazing community we have. We’ve received so much support and love. It’s immeasurable. Thank you.

Many have expressed wanting to help during this difficult time. Of the many logistics his family will need to face in the coming weeks, finances will be one of the most challenging.
