Hi! My name is Toni, I live in the U.S., and a very close friend of mine is trapped in Gaza.

I’m raising money on behalf of my friend Mohammed Al-Ghalayini and his family — who, like so many others, have lost everything due to the war and destruction in Gaza.

All donations will go towards securing the basic necessities that Mohammed and his family so desperately need. As a large family of nine, everything is expensive, even survival. Even the smallest contribution has a lasting impact. My name is Mohammed Al-Ghalayini, and Toni is my good friend. I am 22 years old. My family consists of nine people. I live in the Gaza Strip, where the nightmare of war, genocide, famine, and destruction has been ongoing for over 600 days.

I launched a Go Fund Me campaign with the help of my friend Toni to help me and my family, due to the situation we are living in the Gaza Strip and to escape the hell of war!

I lost my home at the beginning of the war after it was bombed by Israeli warplanes. I was forced to flee several times in search of a safe place. Unfortunately, there is no safe place here. Now, I have lost the tent I was living in after my previous home was destroyed.

I was also forced to abandon my university studies, where I was studying business administration, for many reasons - including the bombing of the university, the lack of a stable life free of distractions, the arduous daily suffering, and the lack of a safe place and suitable learning environment.

Famine, death, and disease continue due to the closure of crossings, the shortage of food and medical supplies, and the prevention of their entry into my country. This shortage has also resulted in skyrocketing prices for the scarce and unhealthy goods that remain in the markets.

Here I endure all these hardships and difficulties, struggling in harsh conditions, all to build a better life and a brighter future for me and my family.

Can you imagine the extent of the suffering, my friends?! No money, no food, no medicine, no work, no education, no security, no future, no life..

Me llamo Mohammed Al-Ghalayini y Toni es un buen amigo. Tengo 22 años. Mi familia está formada por nueve personas. Vivo en la Franja de Gaza, donde la pesadilla de la guerra, el genocidio, la hambruna y la destrucción dura más de 600 días.

Perdí mi hogar al principio de la guerra, tras ser bombardeado por aviones de guerra israelíes. Me vi obligado a huir varias veces en busca de un lugar seguro. Desafortunadamente, aquí no hay ningún lugar seguro. Ahora, he perdido la tienda de campaña en la que vivía después de que mi anterior hogar fuera destruido.

También me vi obligado a abandonar mis estudios universitarios, donde estudiaba Administración de Empresas, por muchas razones, como el bombardeo de la universidad, la falta de una vida estable y sin distracciones, el arduo sufrimiento diario y la falta de un lugar seguro y un entorno de estudio adecuado.

La hambruna, la muerte y la enfermedad persisten debido al cierre de los cruces fronterizos, la escasez de alimentos y suministros médicos, y la prohibición de su entrada a mi país. Esta escasez también ha provocado el aumento desmesurado de los precios de los productos escasos e insalubres que aún quedan en los mercados.

Aquí sufro todas estas penurias y dificultades, luchando en duras condiciones, todo para construir una vida mejor y un futuro más prometedor para mí y mi familia.

¡¿Se imaginan la magnitud del sufrimiento, amigos?! Sin dinero, sin comida, sin medicinas, sin trabajo, sin educación, sin seguridad, sin futuro, sin vida...
