Mirna Vazquez Martínez (or Holly to many in the gaming community) is a fantastic, fierce, mama working on completing her PhD while working in computer technology. At the beginning of July 2021, Mirna started feeling abdominal pains, light-headed, and fainted. After being rushed to the hospital, and with minimal previous symptoms, Mirna underwent an emergency hysterectomy, oophorectomy, and appendectomy to remove cancerous tissue. While Mirna is still hospitalized and awaiting biopsy results to determine whether chemotherapy or other next steps will be needed, her medical bills are already very substantial. Mirna is a beloved member of many communities, intelligent, compassionate, and talented (the lady is able to crack jokes in two languages, folks!) Please help us help her in her time of need, just as she has helped so many of us.
