Last week, I was diagnosed with throat cancer. After several doctor visits and CT scans, I have decided to go to Our Lady of the Lakes Cancer Institute in Baton Rouge for treatment.

As a small business owner, it hurts to admit that I live paycheck to paycheck. Luckily, I have medical insurance that will help with that part of the expense. Unfortunately, I won't have any income coming in for travel, hotels, bills, etc. That's where y'all come in... so check your sock drawers, couch cushions, the floorboards in your vehicle, and any other place you can think of. At this point, anything is going to help. If all you can afford to send is a prayer, I'm gladly accepting those too.
