Hi friends! it’s Dr. Walsh here, fundraising (once again) for another amazing dog who found herself in a tough situation. Meet Kanu, a goofy, golden girl whose life took an unfortunate turn. After a serious injury, she was surrendered to us so she could get the care she needed — a life changing amputation and the chance to finally live pain free. Kanu handled surgery beautifully and is recovering well already adjusting to life on three legs like a pro. We’re now working to cover the cost of her surgery, hospitalization, and recovery so she can move on to the happy, healthy life she deserves. If you’ve followed my past rescues, you know how much every dollar counts. Kanu is as special as they come and I will be giving updates all through her recovery!
