The Thrift family has been displaced from their home due to a fire that swept through their house, not once but twice, leaving them with simply the clothes on their backs. As humble as this family is, they are simply asking for prayers as they move forward to rebuild their lives during this tragedy. Donations are being sought on their behalf to help cover immediate expense such as clothing, temporary housing, school supplies for the kids, etc., as we know insurance will not be readily available for these needs now. Not only do they have 2 teenage daughters and a son in elementary school, but Steve is one of the leaders for a scout troop and Nichole offers her loving home to care for young children of close friends, providing a home away from home, and volunteers for her children's schools and also for her son's Pop Warner football league. This family is always willing and able to help others whether it be through volunteering, attending fundraisers, or simply just being a friend.
