Three years ago, we looked at the streets of Ukraine and saw a tragedy within a tragedy: the silent victims of war. We saw loyal companions left behind in the rubble, frightened and hungry. That was the day Daryna Rescue Sanctuary was born.

Today, we are the guardians of 56 cats and 7 dogs—each one a survivor with a story. Some lost their homes to the cold, others to the noise of explosions, but all of them found a second chance with us.

Running a sanctuary in these conditions is a daily battle. From keeping the enclosures warm to ensuring every bowl is filled, the costs are mounting. We believe every animal deserves a life free from fear and a home filled with love. We are their only safety net, but we cannot hold it alone.
