Nina and Kell were a young couple in love and expecting their first baby in September this year when at 33 weeks of pregnancy Nina received a life-changing diagnosis of stage 3, hormone-receptive positive breast cancer. At 35 weeks of pregnancy Nina underwent a mastectomy and a c-section in the same day. Into the world entered beautiful little Alice... Since Alice’s arrival this little family have adjusted to life as new parents, whilst Nina has also recovered from her double surgery and undergone grueling chemotherapy which continues, with radiation still to come.. Kell has returned to work to support their family.. Those of us blessed to know Nina and Kell know what a special a couple they are.. Our beloved Nina is a hospice nurse, who has been with, and comforted many adults and children as theyve faced the end of their lives, and her main support, Kell is a hard-working carpenter.. They share their lives and home with many farm animals that they have rescued from lives of misery, and they’re always there to offer their time and assistance to friends, family and their wider community... it took huge arm twisting to get them to agree to this campaign as they are giving people that consistently focus on others... in this instance they need our help... please consider contributing as any funds will enable Nina to take some time out at home with Alice to fully heal, rest and enjoy her beautiful little girl before having to return to work..Organizer and beneficiary
