THREE SMALL DOGS NEED HEALTH CARE

I am starting this Go Fund Me for a young man, Isaac James, who generously cleaned my 94-year-old veteran father's yard, rebuilt his fence destroyed by a fallen limb, and helped him with home repairs.

Among the many needs this young man is now facing, he is most concerned with the well-being of his three dogs.

His dog, Chance, has Cherry Eye. It is at the point where only surgery can fix it. The base cost for this is $800. All three dogs need their regular vet visit and need to be caught up on vaccinations. Isaac's elderly pup, Buddy, needs his teeth attended to. The cost for this is unknown until he has a thorough exam with X-rays.

This generous young man helps others in need with his labor. Please, let's help him with medical needs for his three dogs.

BACK STORY

How did Isaac come to have three dogs in his charge?

Five years ago, while Isaac and his roommate were driving through a storm away from a tornado, they saw a small animal in the road. Confused and scared, the animal was spinning in circles in the wind and rain. At first, they thought it was a rat. Isaac ran through the rain to the animal and, discovering it was a dog, he scooped him up into his jacket. A couple of days later, Isaac took the pup to the vet to have him checked out and scanned for a chip. No luck. He posted the dog's picture on lost animal sites to find his owner. No luck. He then became Isaac's "Buddy." When I remarked to Isaac that he saved Buddy's life, he said, "No, he saved my life. He gave me purpose."

Some time later, Isaac's roommate brought home two pups he rescued from a deplorable situation. They are siblings, Lily and Chance. Shortly after that, Isaac's roommate moved out without advance notice. This left Isaac with a lease he couldn't afford and two more small dogs to care for.

Isaac loaded up a small travel trailer and he, Buddy, Lily, and Chance headed for Colorado, hoping for a new start. Isaac's aunt and uncle let him park his trailer in their backyard. This way, Isaac could start his yard care business, save money, and get on his feet. Isaac had just registered and paid for his LLC and began investing in small equipment as well as advertising for his business, paid for with small jobs he was bringing in.

Under his aunt and uncle's special mortgage program, they were not allowed to have anyone outside their immediate family living with them. They figured Isaac in his trailer would be an exception to this. That turned out not to be the case. His aunt and uncle's hands are tied. Isaac and his pups must vacate, with the trailer, by June 14th.

As you can see, Isaac's needs are suddenly many, but his main concern is seeing to his three pups' well-being. They are his purpose.
