This June, a group of nine very average blokes (and five who dropped out) are attempting to climb the National Three Peaks — that’s Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon — all within 24 hours.
It’s brutal. It’s stupid. It’s going to hurt. But we’re doing it for someone far tougher than all of us combined: 13-year-old Mason Fuller.
Mason’s life changed overnight when he suffered a rare spinal stroke, leaving him paralysed from the waist down. After months in hospital and intensive rehab, Mason has amazed everyone by starting to walk short distances with mobility aids.
But the NHS can no longer provide the specialist neuro-physio he desperately needs to continue his progress. The best chance of recovery comes within the first two years — and time is critical.
We’re raising funds to help Mason access two physio sessions per week, explore new mobility technology like Bioness, and get adapted equipment to help him live like any other teenager.
Please donate, share, or simply cheer us on as we haul ourselves up three mountains in a day — all for Mason.
Because some mountains aren’t made of rock.
