Yorkshire Three Peaks for Gaja

Hello,
I’m Paulina Sroka, friend of Sandra Kulesza – Gaja’s auntie. Together
with our work colleagues we decided to take on a walking challenge to raise funds and give little Gaja a chance for better future!
Gaja Stawska was born with a deformity of her ear. She was also
diagnosed with atresia, as well as a congenital malformation syndrome called Goldenhar Syndrome!
The closed ear canal and underdeveloped auricle cause serious hearing loss, which causes difficulties in Gaja's development. Fortunately, there is hope! Gaja has been qualified for a very complicated operation in the United States!
Our fundraise is a support to the main one set up for Gaja in Poland. Currently there is 75% of funds already collected on Polish fundraise. This fundraise will be increased gradually to the difference needed to achieve the main target. There is still over £25,245 needed to achieve full amount.

Gaja regularly undergoes Vojta rehabilitation to maintain correct posture.
Unfortunately, the S-shaped curvature of her spine makes it difficult for her to maintain balance, so regular exercise is the key.
The asymmetry of her face and palate still makes it difficult for her to
bite properly, so she continues the speech therapy so that she can eat solid foods on her own.
Every day, Gaja wears a bone conduction headband that helps her hear better. Unfortunately, there are days when she doesn't want to wear it and often takes it off. At such times, she loses her balance even more and falls.
Gaja’s parents hope to collect the missing amount by the end of the
year. This is crucial, because in January 2026 Gaja will be able to
have a head CT scan – necessary for the operation in the United States.
On the 17th of May myself, Sandra, the Ringtons team & friends will attempt a challenge of walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise some funds for little Gaja. We are hoping you could support our idea, every little helps! Also, feel free to join the challenge itself - meeting point - The Golden Lion Hotel,Horton in Ribblesdale, BD24 0HB - setting off at 7AM.
