We are a group of five students from Imperial College London and will be doing the national three peaks challenge on the 19th-21st June. We will be attempting to climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland, and Wales, in under 24 hours to raise money for Sarcoma UK, a charity that supports people suffering from this rare type of cancer, and funds medical research related to it.

The challenge involves approximately 13 hours of hiking and 11 hours of driving across the country all within 24 hours, and involves covering around 23 miles and 3000 metres of height gain. This is an event that we have been training for and will start at Ben Nevis in Scotland on the morning 20th June. We will then climb Scafell pike late into the night, and aim to climb Snowdon and be back down by the morning of the 21st. We hope that this challenge will inspire others and raise money for this charity.

This is a charity that is close to us as Sarcomas have affected loved ones, and its support is very important to many people in a similar situation. We hope to raise as much money as possible from this event and donations of any amount are gratefully received.
