Three Peaks, 500 miles in 5 days

Next week Cameron, my son, and I, ably suported by John Nelson, are going to climb the Three Peaks, Snowdon, Scarfell and Ben Nevis, whilst cycling, 500 miles, between them over five days. It should be a challenging but fun trip and I have wanted to do this for a for a great friend we tragically lost too early. Jonathan Wood, also known as "Spiney" or "Spartacus" was one of lifes true eccentrics and I enjoyed some amazing trips around the World with Jon, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Australia and Isreal in particular. He never failed to get us into some very unusual situations and once met never forgotten. I want to celebrate the extra ordinary life he led whilst also rasing money to help with a real problem in society today . . Jon reached out for help but was let down by a system poorly equipped to help. Any donation will be gratefully received and can make a significant difference. I will also match fund any donations made to CALM and give that to Sustrans a cause very close to Jons heart, somehting he spoke about in New York where he was invited to speak as a guest of David Bryne, of Talking Heads fame!
